Friday Letters - June 14, 2013

Dear Big G,
You're my hero! Thank you so much for being there with the kids this past week while I've been so busy! I know it's strange since I'm usually the one with the kids while you're out of town for work. It's a bit surreal for it to be this way, but I can't thank you enough for all your support and encouragement babe. Without you believing in me and in what we're building I couldn't do any of it! I love you!

Dear RoRo,
I hope you feel better soon, so glad your fever finally broke last night. I hate seeing you sick, my poor little baby love. :(

Dear D-Man,
How excited are you to start preschool in 2 weeks!? It's been a long road of just me and you every day, it's hard to believe you've grown so much and are ready to begin your own adventures and make new friends. Next step after this, Kindergarten! Yay!

Dear RiRi,
I'm so excited for you and proud of you that you've decided to follow in my footsteps and start your own blog! Now that my travels have slowed down we get to work on getting it started! How fun!

Dear BlogHer Food,
I had such an amazing time, it's difficult to put it all into words and write about my experience. It was amazing, and such a whirlwind! I've been useless all week recuperating from it, but I think Austin, Texas was the perfect city for this conference to be held in. Such an eclectic, fun trip. We went from partying downtown one night, to a fancy dinner on an urban farm the next. Wonderful memories were made, knowledge was learned, and friendships were formed and solidified. I'll have more on this next week while I continue to gather my thoughts and sort through photos!

Dear Readers,
Thank you for sticking with me through this little break in my blog. I promise to come back soon with tons of new and original content! So many amazing opportunities I've been receiving, also many important changes will be made to the blog, all for the best experience when you come to visit!

I leave you with this canvas painting we made for Big G last Father's Day!
We saw many similar ideas on Pinterest and thought it was great. The blue one was RoRo's hand, he squished his hand when it got the paint on it, and it dripped a bit, but we call it the bluebird in the tree! ;)
Wishing you and yours a Happy Father's Day for the special Dad's in your life!
