Thanksgiving Menu Ideas

I've compiled a list of recipes I've already posted that are completely appropriate to serve with your Thanksgiving meal or bring to a Thanksgiving dinner, party, or event. I had planned to share more recipes this week, but have been so busy planning my own Thanksgiving that I ran out of time! Don't worry, I'll still share them with you, just not in time for Thanksgiving!

This is one of my favorite holidays, and we don't celebrate the Thanksgiving they teach in the schools, my family is multicultural and we come from various backgrounds. We look at Thanksgiving as a day to enjoy our family, enjoy some good food, and for me to live my passion, which is cooking and baking. It's all the things I love packed in one day!

When I was younger we always would spend Thanksgiving with my aunt, she would decorate her home beautifully, have a gorgeous table setting and delicious food. I always looked forward to holidays because that is how we always spent them. I've tried to recreate that same lavishness, but we have young children and our family is a little more relaxed. So nowadays we don't have a fancy sit down dinner, we sort of eat all day, watch football and just enjoy our time with one another. Sometimes I'm still cooking or baking throughout the day. It's definitely fun, and we have leftovers that take us at least throughout the remainder of the weekend!

So onto my list of ideas! I have plenty of other ideas that may fit into your menu, but this is just a mock menu idea. Feel free to browse through the other recipes I've shared throughout this blog. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy!
